No class spawns with a grenade, the grenade isn’t that useful for fighting small numbers of enemies, but although can wipe out large numbers of Enemies if used wisely. Making taking care of your HP more important.
Med kits can be found commonly in the game, although they may or not be difficult to find near the end game. Scientists may/may not spawn with a medkit. Medkits upon used can remove the effect of SCP-207 and heal 60 HP of the player.
Every MTF unit spawns 1 medkit ( Except for Specialist which spawns with no medkits and the medic which spawns with a whopping 4 medkits.) And every CI also spawns with 1 medical kit.
